Almost a year has passed since I last wrote a blog post, and what a year it has been! Pretty much the only writing I have been doing lately is composing emails to students and papers for my classes. As I'm discovering more about who God has made me to be and what he has gifted me with, I keep coming back to writing. There's been a deep-seated and suppressed need to write again that has been bubbling up - a desire to share what's been going on in my life. Whether anyone actually reads it or not, it helps me to personally process and to seek the Lord's hand in my life.
So, I set out to create a new blog space that feels more grown up and sleek. If you've never seen my previous blog, don't worry you're not missing much. It was really just a space for early 20-something Lacey to post my journeys in Ireland and then some other random ramblings through the years. I did bring over my last post from October 2018, which you can view under my previous blog posts, because I feel like it sets the tone for what I want this blog to be. It's deeply personal and honest and I know that it did touch many people who took the time to read it (thank you again to those who did!).
This year has been interesting, to say the least, and there's been a lot that I've been processing. I'm looking forward to sharing more on here about this year and hopefully hearing from some of you. Stay tuned!
